How to get get Started

How can I start sending traffic to a client?: Open an account and then log in. If you want to use our creative, head to the ‘Marketing’ section, select which campaign you want to use and choose which banners you like. Alternatively you can take the text links from this section on their own and host the images yourself. Start featuring the URL or banner on your site and traffic from your site will automatically be tracked.
How easy is it to set up?: Setting an account up is simple. Click the ‘JOIN NOW’ button, fill in form, and your membership will be automatically approved. Our affiliate manager will of course review your site but will be able to start sending traffic to our clients immediately.

Technical

How is the traffic I’ve sent to a client attributed to me?: When you sign up to Affiliate Edge you will be given a unique Affiliate ID. This Affiliate ID is automatically added to the URLs in the Banners and Campaign section. The second part after the ‘&’ sign indicates the campaign it might be attached to.
E.g. http://www.allstarslots.com/?affid=CJNNN8H9&cid=CAMPAIGN
The code at the end of this example URL is the most important part of the link. When someone arrives at a client’s site through this link, the site registers the above code in a cookie. Any subsequent download, account and revenue is then linked to your account.
How long do the cookies last for?: Affiliate Edge cookies have a lifetime of 100 days.
If a player visits a merchant via my site first then again later via another affiliate; which affiliate gets credit?: Our cookies act on a first come first serve policy, unless the cookie has expired between the times of the two visits.
What help/tools do you offer?: We have compiled a comprehensive Webmaster Tools section which has a range of useful tools and resources.

Your Affiliate Edge Account

Is it possible that my players can be untagged from my account?: Absolutely not! Once a player has signed up or registered with a client they will always be linked with your account. This is guaranteed.
I can’t log in to my account. What can I do?: Make sure you are imputing your username and password correctly. Passwords are case-sensitive so double-check you have not got Caps-Lock on or have mistyped; ‘Password123, is not the same as ‘password123’. If you are sure your details are correct contact us and we will happily try to help solve the problem.
How can I change my account details?: Once you have logged into your Affiliate Edge account head towards the ‘My Account’ section where you alter the contact details. Unfortunately you can’t change your Affiliate I.D., or your username, as these are the unique identifiers of your account with us.
How can I change my password?: Log into your account, head towards the ‘My Account’ tab and change your password. Alternatively, if you have forgotten your password, please email us and we will reset your password.

Marketing, Representation and Reporting

Can I promote other clients through other affiliate programs?: What you do with your website is your business. However, to ensure the best possible outcome for both you and our clients we recommend focusing your efforts on making your campaigns with us as successful as possible.
What is your stance on spamming?: Simple, we do not allow it. Affiliate Edge does not recognise spamming as a legitimate method of advertising. If we are notified or happen to come across instances of affiliates using spam, or other similar techniques, we will take the matter very seriously. Spamming diminishes the reputation and status of us, our clients, affiliates and the industry and therefore has no role within what we are aiming to achieve.
Will you be adding more banners and creative?: Yes. We are constantly creating new methods for advertising to benefit your websites. However, if there is something specific you want (possibly in conjunction with your brand), we may be able to help design something for you. Please contact us for more information.
Are any websites permitted to join Affiliate Edge?: Anyone can create an account with us; however, you should note that you are liable to follow our Terms and Conditions. If the content and/or subject of your website contravene our Terms and Conditions, you will be notified.
How can I check my campaign’s progress during the month?: Simply by logging in to Affiliate Edge, you can access a variety of reports that have tracked and logged any activity from your affiliate links allowing you to decide on possible ways to optimise your campaign.
I have a depositing player listed in my report but no revenue. Why?: This depends on the dates of your reports. During the dates of the report, the player may not have played for real-money. Keep in mind that the accessible reports start from figures that occurred 24 hours previously.

How can affiliates earn money from joining Affiliate Edge?

The most popular and profitable way is through revenue-share. For every amount a player you referred loses you will earn a percentage of the total Net. Only in unique cases will we consider the possibility of a Cost-Per-Acquisition (CAP) deal. If you are interested in negotiating a CPA deal please contact us.

What are the commission rates of the revenue-share deal?

At the end of the month, your Net summary will be subject to the following commission levels.

How do I get my hands on my hard earned cash?

When do I get paid my commissions?

On the 15th of every month, you will be paid the previous months earnings.

Are there limits on how much I can be paid each month?

You will need to have earned at least $200.00 (Net) the previous month to be paid on the 15th of the following month. If your earnings were less than $200.00, the balance rolls over to the following month and contributes to the following month’s earnings.
*Negative roll-overs never occur.
*We will only pay out less than $200.00 if you are closing your account with us.

What if my account goes into negative values? Does this carryover into the next month?

Absolutely not. Whilst some other affiliate programs have made this a strict rule we have decided that all balances will be reset to zero at the end of the month.

If a chargeback occurs how will I be affected?

A chargeback occurs if a player uses a credit card then disputes actually making the purchase. Though our clients do everything in their power to stop chargeback abuse, if it is verified and your player is refunded your affiliate balance will be altered to compensate for the discrepancy.

Can I use a financial account that isn’t in my name for my earnings to be paid to?

Unfortunately not. The name of the account holder must match the name of the Affiliate Edge account holder. If there seems to be differences between the two then we may ask for further proof to confirm everything is in order.

Can I change the method of which I am paid?

Yes. Log into Affiliate Edge and in the ‘My Account’ section, you have the ability to change how you are paid. Please remember to fill in the details of your payment method in the space provided to efficiently help the payment process.
